Hello Everyone!

I received lots of love from many of you as I am starting out and I really appreciate it :) Thanks for the support! These last two weeks have been crazy so I will have a part 1 today and part 2 Wednesday.

Around the Office

I was at lunch one day in a different part of the floor I work on and when I looked out, saw a school and what looked like a fitness test. A bit disorienting at first, but the grey area has a throwing marker on the ground to see how far the kids (far left) can throw a ball. I guess Japan's love of baseball influences this??

There are 5, 10, 15, 25+ line markers. A few kids ran around the edges to collect stray balls

Aside from this fun event, I also took some photos of the courtyard near the building.

Lunches & Dinners

Japan has a big tradition of "Senpai" & "Kōhai" which is usually based on time spent at the company (those who came first are the Senpai). This tradition extends itself to meals and the Senpai treating the Kōhai with the understanding that you will one day be a Senpai and do the same.

This was the lunch I had with a few of my new teammates!

We also had a huge welcome party as I and another member joined around the same time. Coincidentally, one member was also leaving which turned it into a big celebration of new beginnings and farewells.

It was a great night!

A tad late, but the week prior, many of my classmates also came together for a fun night out of eating and drinking. We also celebrated a few birthdays for the week (and month!) So Fun :)

Wrap Up

These were the highlights from about two weeks ago and I will share this past week's Wednesday! With so much happening, I will also be returning with weekly posts. I appreciate the support and as always,

Thanks for Reading!
