Day 15 Prompt

For The Spoopy Season Challenge: "What is your favorite color? How does it make you feel? Where do you like to see it?"

Initial Thoughts

This is a fun one with a multi-faceted approach. I feel there's a difference between solid all-alone color choices and those that are a combo or amongst others. That said, I think I got a fav.

Favorite

Black. I love the color black because of a few reasons. Typically, people use it to make a statement with other colors or to try and draw attention. If you look at the screen you're reading this on, there's most likely a black boarder either around the screen or the device itself.

Black cuts off parts of the world. It's the end of color in one spot and the beginning in another.

The way it makes me feel is an interesting to describe. Black is the absence of color because it's greedy and absorbs all color. The feeling is that of pity and the desire to help as a person who tries to give. This is juxtaposed though to the idea of new, clean and sleek.

Black feels as if it's cutting edge. As if the more we can split and dice it up all over our world the more light we can bring into it. More screens with more black boxes. I'm fascinated by the black color as it is everywhere and fades into nothingness.

I like seeing it everywhere and the way it highlights and defines. It's the font color of choice and the staple standout design color. It's always chic and a classic.

What's your favorite color? Why?

Maybe our choice says a lot about us. I don't really know haha, but it's still cool to see why we like a color as much as we do. Was it a momentous event in our childhood or a recent perspective shift that makes us like it? Regardless, let me know your fav! And as always,

Thanks for Reading!
