I've really been focusing on Japanese these last few days as I approach the halfway point for my 6 month journey! It definitely feels like it's time to kick it into gear...

I'm using Ghost as my host (ba dum psh) for my blog and found out that one of the largest writing communities Quartz, recently moved all of their stuff to Ghost to! So below are two fun articles from them and this week's history lesson: jaywalking.

Ah diets, such fun and causing no stress for anyone right? Right?? What if you just stopped eating by two? Apparently that works πŸ‘πŸΌ

Somewhat counterintuitively, restricting eating at 2pm produced more feelings of fullness in the evening.

Why are humans so bad at predicting the future? (5 min)

Some key reasons, (cause you probably won't read this, or am I just bad at predicting?) are our, biases, not knowing what's important, and unable to synthesize data.

But most of the time, we don’t even pay attention to the data. Instead we tend to rely on what we think we know when we make decisions.
